The stronger fingers hold down the melody, while the weaker fingers provide a constant slur underneath. Make sure that your there is even tone across the strings, one string is not louder or more prominent than another, especially the open strings.<\/p>\n<h3>KEY Strategy<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Light Slurs<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The LH needs to be light and only slur on top of the strings. Do not press in hard. The slur is still executed with the knuckles however with a little more writs rotation than is normal in classical guitar.<\/p>\n<h3>Other Info<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: The tone needs to even, so make sure that the open strings do not pop out of the texture.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Secret<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Use the wrist<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slurring, in this example is with fixed fingers, so rotate the wrist a little bit to get the LH fingers plucking the strings. Lift off finger no. 1 on the end, do not pluck down, as this will help keep the tone even.
